Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Student Job / Part-Time Tour Guide role based in Aachen. The Tour Guide will lead scheduled walking tours, present local history and points of interest, and answer questions from guests in a clear and engaging manner. Day-to-day tasks include preparing for tours by reviewing route information, checking meeting points, and ensuring guests feel welcome and safe throughout the tour. The role also involves managing group dynamics, keeping tours on schedule, and providing practical information such as directions, recommendations, and local tips. The Tour Guide may assist with collecting feedback, distributing promotional materials, and supporting basic administrative tasks related to tour bookings and guest communication.
Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak clearly and confidently to groups.

• Customer service skills, including friendliness, patience, and the ability to assist guests with diverse needs.

• Interest in local history, culture, and landmarks in Wiesbaden, with a willingness to learn and research tour content.

• Reliable time management and organizational skills to keep tours on schedule and manage daily tasks.

• Fluency in German or English.

• Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Current student status is preferred; prior experience in guiding, teaching, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
